Fettucini al Limone

Got a little help with homemade fettucini (thanks, babe) and easily created this bright fresh lemon pasta dish. The condimenti was super easy to make too. I used a splash of limoncello in place of the lemon juice and it came out super. Not exactly helping the belly with all that butter, but light, spicy and fresh it was. Leftovers were even better the day after.

Insalata

All the greens in the house tonite are iceburg lettuce. Not the most exciting of salad greens. but what the heck.....I have some toasted pine nuts from before (made my own toasted pinenut, chocolate bar at lunch time. Fantastico! I had originally bought some Hershey almond chocolate bars to nosh on. Got one where the entire half was all chocolate and absolutely no almonds. Lucky if there were three in the entire bar! )

Have those pignoli and can make a nice vinaigrette. what about it...chopped roasted, pinenuts. and do it like they add walnuts to everthing these days. Ok, how bout some seared mushrooms and maybe a few spears of baby asparagus with spicy olive oil. Now we're talking. yummy. THAT's a good salad.
